The General Data Protection (GDPR) is a EU law that came into effect on 25th May 2018 replacing the Data Protection Act 1998. It gives individuals greater control over their own personal data. Due to the nature of our business it is necessary for us to collect personal information about the children who attend as well as parents/carers and staff. All information about your child is held securely and appropriate safeguards are in place to prevent accidental loss.

Staff at Wild Things have access to your child’s records to enable them to do their jobs. Anyone with access to your child’s records is trained in confidentiality issues and is governed by a legal duty to keep their details secure. In some circumstances we may be required by law to release your child’s details to statutory or other official bodies for safeguarding purposes.
